Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience License: WV or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (via American Heart Association) Must-Have: - IV Start - Telemetry Skills Job Description: - Work as a Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN. - Available ASAP for a 13-week assignment. - Work night shifts, 4x12-hour, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including weekdays and every other weekend. - There is an average daily census of 25 adults and geriatrics with a ratio of 1:5. - Float within scope to meet facility needs when applicable. - Orientation occurs every other week on Thursday and spans 16 hours. - First-timers accepted, provided the experience requirement is met. - No on-call requirement, but weekends are every other weekend. - Candidate should have a perm address greater than 100 miles from the facility. - Submission requires at least 2 manager or charge references from the last 2 years. - Compliance includes a flu shot during the flu season, from October 1st to March 31st, unless medically exempt. - Must complete required modules prior to start; these vary by specialty.
