  Responsibilities
  • Provide care to medical, surgical, and oncology patients
  • Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified)
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans
  • Charting with Cerner
  • Must be willing to float within scope Requirements
    • 2 years' experience (Oncology preferred, not required)
    • BLS required (ONC preferred)
    • Skills in Telemetry, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Central Line Draws, Bone Marrow Assist, Pleurx Chest Tubes
    • WV or Compact RN License Additional Information
      • 100-mile radius rule (75-99 miles requires approval)
      • Patient Ratios 4-5:1 (Days), 5-6:1 (Nights)
      • Short-term acute care, Level IV Trauma, Teaching Hospital
      • Scrubs Royal Blue/White (RN)
