Tool & Die Technician
South Charleston, WV
Direct-Hire / Permanent Position
$19-24 per hour
Adecco direct hire group is assisting a client located in South
Charleston, WV in filling the position of a Tool & Die Technician.
This position will allow you to use your talent as a Tool & Die
maker in a fast-paced, high-tech work environment specializing in
the automotive industry. Our client is a world leader in stamped
automotive parts. They operate in 20 countries with 96
manufacturing plants and 12 R&D facilities. Total compensation

As a Tool & Die Technician, your responsibilities will include:
*Die set-up per GWV standards
*Use of machining equipment to include: Mills, Welders, Grinders
and Precision Hand Tools
*Read and understand blueprints and engineering changes
*Fabricate new and repair existing fixtures for robotic weld cells,
spot weld cells and assembly pieces
*Troubleshoot and preventative maintenance of tools, dies, jigs and
fixtures
Qualifications:
*5+ years of experience in the Tool & Die industry - preferably in
the Stamping industry
*Journeyman?s certification or comparable experience
*Ability to work all shifts, including weekends as needed as well
as overtime hours
*Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics and change
requests
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs
This is a permanent position with a starting wage of $19-24 per
hour and company benefits. Applicants should be willing to work
1st, 2nd or 3rd shift as needed. Overtime will be required as the
plant is extremely busy.
