• Certification Details
• Certifications Required: BLS; RDCS - Adult, RCS; RDCS - Peds (preferred). Applicant must be registered in adult echocardiography
• Flu Shot: CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record (within specific time window).
• Covid Vaccine NOT required

  • Echo Tech/Cardiac Ultrasonographer Needed
  • Start Date: Orientation occurs every other Monday
  • Orientation Schedule: First 3 Days will be 7a-330p
  • Patient Ratio: Normally 6 Echo Techs but no more than 8
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40
    • Job Requirements
    • Experience Required: 1 year
    • First-Time Travelers Allowed?: No
    • 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
    • Can submit with pending license but must have WV RDCS - Adult license active to start assignment
    • Experience Required: Adult Echo - Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, TEE, PACS, Portable Studies
    • Echo Experience Preferred: Adult Echo - 3/D Echo, Pharm Stress Echo, RVIT/RVOT, Treadmill Stress Echo; Peds Echo - Routine, Scanning Complex Anomalies
    • Equipment Experience Required: PACS, Phillips
    • Equipment Experience Preferred: GE, Siemens
    • Submission Requirements: Perm employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 Years after last day worked perm
      • Schedule Information
      • 5x8 2p-10:30p OR 4x10 12p-10:30p, weekdays, every other weekend
      • Shift: 5x8 2p-10:30p OR 4x10 12p-10:30p, weekdays, every other weekend
      • Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
      • Call Requirement: on call rotation - discuss with manager during interview
      • Traveler could be floated to CAMC General Echo (5 minutes away)
      • Will not accommodate blocked schedules

        • Valid Drivers License is required.
        • Social Security Card required.
        • Please require if the candidate is working on a compact license.
        • Pass/fail testing is required for Nursing candidates ONLY.
        • Candidates will have two attempts to pass each exam.
        • Required Exams: EKG Exam, Medication Calculation Exam, Blood Administration Test
        • CPI Blue Card is required for specific units, online courses are not accepted.
